Intake Air filter

Anybody ever try one of these? I just paid $6 for a fram air filter...this is $16 and re-usable. Has a K&N look about it.

Re: Intake Air filter

It will work if you have the appropriate intake pipe. I'm not sure if it will work with the stock tubing. The stcok tubing is connected to an airbox ( Which I'm sure you know)So if you don't have a cold air intake of short ram intake you may have to invest in one

Re: Intake Air filter

Thanks, shello. I was thinking of pulling the filter air box and putting this cylinder filter on the same 3" rubber flex pipe going to the throttle body. Would there be too much pressure on the flex pipe and it would collapse? So a hard pipe would better?
