Finished: 1:43 Ferrari 550 Maranello 'Prodrive'
1:43 scale resin kit from BBR, a very very nice kit... and much more if they decided to use another kind of windscreen... those PE are hateful...
Out of box, just added a bit of fiber decal here and there, and new roll cage made from evergreen, instead of using the white metal one from the kit. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Wow, very nice.
The cover of the front light don´t seem to fit very well, but the rest: How did you reproduce the carbon-look

The carbon-look was made using BBR decals.

Re: Finished: 1:43 Ferrari 550 Maranello 'Prodrive'
Very nice build. You'll be pleased to here that most new BBR kits including the newer 550 and 57 no longer have etched frames for the windows. Now they use flat glass, pre cut and printed with the frames. They are much easier to use than the older style.

Very nice!
First Lotus Man teases me, now you...that does it - I'm getting me a 1/43 kit!

Beautiful work! Stunning detail.
![]() I admire anyone who builds 1:43. 1:24 is small enough for me
