Fuel Filter 2000 GMC Sonoma
Hello out there. Can anyone tell me where the fuel filter is located on a 2000 GMC Sonoma and if it is easy to change out?
Thanks

Re: Fuel Filter 2000 GMC Sonoma
Under the truck l/s rail near fuel tank, pull the fuel pump fuse 1st run engine till it dies to relieve pressure.

Re: Fuel Filter 2000 GMC Sonoma
I have a 2001 and it is on the drivers side under the door, you have to remove one bolt on the bracket holding it up, then remove the fuel lines on both ends with 2 wrenches, one on the filter and one on the fuel line. Be aware of the directional arrow on the side of the new one. (only goes in one direction) I wrote the milage and date on the side of the new one with a perm marker.
