Getting ready to buy the borla catback, any thoughts

I found a brand new borla catback for my 92 camaro on ebay, (aparently hes a borla dealer) for $748 shipped (best price i could find)
I have the money ready in my paypal account and im seconds away from hitting the buy it now button.
Just wondering what are your final views on it, ive heard many companys come close to the sound like magnaflow, and others, but i really think it has to be $800 for a reason
How easy is it to put this baby on, any welding needed? Just give me a basic rundown of whats up with borla before i spend the $800 i just need that final "go for it dude youll be real happy" before i hit the buy it now lol

Well I bought my Borla cat-back from RKSport's shop on eBay for $555 shipped. And I couldn't be happier with it. Sounds great and IMO is worth the price. I dont know about $748, I wouldn't spend that much on it. I mean, greanted it's a top of the line company, I just don't see it to be worth that price tag. But if you've got the money and want to go all out and buy an exhaust that will sound great, look great, and practically last forever.. than Borla is a good route to go. But as I said, I wouldn't have spent that much money on it. You can buy a Mangaflow (which is just as good) cat-back and some decent headers for around that price. I would suggest checking around for some cheaper Borla or Magnaflow kits before you buy it.

v6 and v8 exhausts are different... the v6 style doesnt have the block off plate system where you can choose to run wide open or muffled...
