Question What should be my next project car?

I am going to undertake my next project car to restore and make a lil faster I am thinking of an older model jap sports car currently, these are the ones I am currently thinking of.

MarkIII Supra (86.5-92) 3.0L Turbo

2nd Gen RX-7 (86-91) 1.3L 13B TurboII

Hmmmm, I like all of those cars a lot. But of course the RX is the best one there However, depending on how much cash you've got, it might not be the best choice. The RX would definitly need a new engine(or at least a rebuild). The Supra and the 300 probably wouldn't.

But since your doing a restore thats probably not that big of a deal.

Personally, i say RX-7 if you don't mind the idea of replacing the engine(hell, you could swap in a 13b from the FD instead and get a very nice power boost.)

If you don't want the rotory and it's inherrant problems, then go for the 300. Those cars a beautiful and there aren't enough of them around.

Thumbs up

I like the looks of the Supra. Maybe after you restore it you can give it to me.

I don't know, it is a close all between the Fairlady Z and the Supra, but I voted for the Supra.
