Exclamation 2001 gc starts and then dies

my 2001 gc starts and then dies after returning to idle.i tried it later and it started up fine and had the service light came on i got to codes one for the battery being unhooked in the last 50 starts which it hasn't and another for the map sensor reading voltage too high when checking barometric pressure when key on.
well then the light went out and drove fine, then this morning the same thing.it will stay running as long as you feather the throttle then it will die as soon as you let it idle.
any ideas on what this is?

Dirty throttle body and or IAC motor . Thoroughly clean the throttle body and pull the IAC motor and thoroughly clean the orifice that it sits in .

also make sure your battery is good if the battery is weak the pcm cannot calculate the position of the ais motor and usually results to stalling
