My 4x4 is not working properly
i just bought 2000 blazer LS i love it but when i put it in 4hi it dont engage & it kicks back to 2hi but when i put it into 4lo it works so if anyone have an idea please let me know hopefully its not that big of an issue

Step 1: Pull the battery tray and look at the vac actuator. Check for tears or leaks. If found replace. Step 2: Check your vac hoses leading from the actuator to the vac switch on top of the transfer case as well as the other 2 hoses leading to/from that switch. Check for dry rot and cracks. If found, replace. Step 3: If the above is ok, then it will either be your vac switch on the transfer case or the encoder motor.
