The upper intake has to come off.If the gaskets come off intact, leave them alone. If the upper intake gaskets come apart in pieces, replace them. You can get the upper intake gaskets seprately at any auto parts store. The throttle body does not have to come off.the fuel lines do not have to come off.Put some grease on the injector o rings, they go in easy if you do this.

Use vasoline in the injector seals, lite coat.

Re: replacing injector, need tips
The upper intake plenum gaskets are really cheap($5-$8), so replace them regardless. I would replace all of the injector seals, at least the lowers when you pull the rail off, leaking raw fuel is a fire hazard, and the o-ring kit isn't that expensive either ($15)

Re: Re: replacing injector, need tips
You probably already have this put together but one tip I learned the hard way was to pressurize the fuel rail after you have installed the injectors and before you install the upper intake. You can check for leaks and not have to remove the upper intake again. Be careful watching for fuel when pressurizing the rail. Don't get it on you. Good luck.

Re: replacing injector, need tips
yes i did it on saturday and sure enuff, the fuel line was leaking so i made a ghetto wrench to tighten it but it didnt werk so i tore it back apart today and the o ring on the fuel line was ripped, i never knew it was even there when i took the fuel rail off because it came off inside the fuel rail. and dumb oreillys say they dont carry that o-ring so im screwed unless autozone has it
