I was trying to get a bug out of my fiance's car today, and I accidentally put down her rear window (it had a window shade for kids on it) and the window won't go back up.
I took apart the door, and when I finally got to the window, there is this little white piece at the bottom of the window that two cables are attached to. Does any one know what that part is called? Also, to make matters worse...the window motor won't operate when you push the switch...It worked before today though... I've checked all the fuses and they are good. Is it possible that I burnt out the motor? Or what could I have done, and does anyone know how to fix it? Some one please help... |

Hey Eugene
I don't know if you've already got your answer, but I had a similar problem (no bug or child screen though) and BOTH rear window regulators broke, to the tune of $620. I didn't do anything to provoke or cause the problem--just both windows slid off their tracks. It took the local Ford dealer 2 + weeks to fix the problem |
