Calling all Triangle and Cape Fear Z People!!

Hey everyone... if you follow any of the other boards, you may already be aware of this... but if not...

November 12th & 13th ... the 11th Annual North Carolina Z Car Show and Fall Z Blast Weekend

We are combining two events to make a weekend of great fun, great food, and great cars. As many of you know, the October 8th show had to be cancelled due to inclement weather... so this is the make-up date for it. While we were planning that event, we also were planning a Wilmington cruise/poker run, which has gotten lots of interest already. So, we decided to combine the two events.

Everyone is encouraged to attend both, but they can be done either alone, or together as your time and schedule allow.

Saturday we'll start the weekend off with the car show at Michael Jordan's RPM Nissan in Durham... registration begins at 8:00, lunch at noon, awards at 1:00.

Vehicles classed and judged by generation, with awards for 1st – 3rd in class, people’s choice, dealer’s choice and specialty awards. We will again have our unique Showroom class for all stock classic Z’s, which will be judged by an interpretation of ZCCA standards. In our other open classes modifications are allowed and encouraged, vehicles are judged on overall appeal. We will also have a Nissan open class for you G and SX folks.

On Sunday, we are planning a morning poker run, including many of Wilmington's attractions like the USS North Carolina battleship, and Kure Beach Pier. We will end up in Castle Haine, just outside Wilmington at Bain William's ranch. There is lots of open field for parking and camping (for you outdoors-y type). We will end the weekend with a souther tradition: pig-pickin' with all the fixins beginning around 1:00 so people will have plenty of time to get back home at a decent hour. Details for Sunday are still being worked out... you can register for the car show by going to www.motorsportreg.com and looking for our event on Nov 12th... or simply follow this link:

Saturday, after the show, there will be an informal caravan to Wilmington with a probable burger/dog cookout planned at the ranch... location and directions to follow shortly

Any Wilmington guys that would like to help out with this event (cause this is for you guys... we need a bigger club presence there again) please email or PM me asap!!
