(EST not toggling)P1361 Ignition Control Circuit Low Voltage

I just bought a 94 LeSabre, and am having some problems with the Ignition system. I get a check engine light, and had Advance check the codes. Came up with p0361 Elec spark timing, EST not toggling.
I replaced the ignition module, and coil packs (used parts from the salvage yard) and new plugs an wires. Problem seemed to have disappeared, but after 100 mile came back. The car runs great when the check engine light is off, but has a miss when it is on. It just kind of bucks when you get on the gas. So far no stalling or anything. The check engine light stayed off for the first 100 miles, the car sat for 8 hours, and came on immediately at start up. This morning, no check engine light till I drove about 25 miles so operating temp does not seem to be an issue.

I've been reading alot about the crank or cam sensors, and thought maybe the PCM might be the culprit. What's left?

The only other code is the cruise control vacuum solenoid. I grabbed the cruise control assembly when I was at the salvage yard, but I'm not sure if the solenoid is part of the diaphragm assembly. Anyone know? Not sure what to replace.

You can't just keep throwing parts at this, if that code is still there you must find a diagnostic trouble tree for the problem, either with a trouble shooter scanner such as the mtg 2500 Snap On, or a subcription to Alldata. Whats left is proper diagnostic techniques and a thorough backround with a fairly sophisticated electronic control problem.

On the Cruise control.. I had a PCM fix a cruise control problem.. NO DOUBT>
On the other .. I have had a CRANKshaft sensor bad, however in troubleshooting with junk parts. put in a bad ignition module..I put my old one back in and Whalah!!

You say the problem returned. Proubably because the PCM re tUned to the sensor information it was using which is bad info. I would trust what you have replaced. Move on to CODE reading and look at that Crankshaft sensor with one eye.

Good luck.

P.S. My local Guru. Paid Mechanic shop owner.. and local auto racer. Says the aftermarket sensor for a Crankshaft sensor and Camsensor suck.. Buy GM.

My neighbor brought the OTC Genesys Scan tool home tonight (that thing is sweet). Anyway, the P0361 code is generic for all OBDII for an ignition problem The GM code turns out to be P1361, which is:
Ignition Control Circuit Low Voltage. Where do I begin to look to solve this problem? Do I put a new ignition control module on? I did swap with the one from the salvage yard. The light stayed off for 100 miles after that.
