1998 s10 p/u front control arm bushing replacement help.
has anyone replaced there front control arm bushings? i removed the drivers front suspension only to be stopped as i cant remove the control arm bushings. do they have to be pressed out? i repeatedly hit them with a 2 1/2 lbs hammer and they laughed at me. any help/recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

You need to burn the bushings out than tap out the sleeves. Then tap the new ones in with a socket between the ears. If you bend the ears you could fuck the arm up.
