running wires from door into car / window regulator
I am going to be upgrading my speakers as well as running new wire to them, I have tried in the past to run a simple very low gauge wire (single strand shielded approx 32 gauge) for the door locks (installed remote car starter wanted to integrate door locks) and was unable to find a way to run a wire. is there a way? or would I be better off drilling new holes and putting in gromets (which I would have no problem doing as long as I could work out a way not to pinch the wire)?
also I need a replacement drivers side manual window regulator for a 2 door 1998 plymouth neon and I am finding this impossible to find anywhere other than the dealer (they want close to $200 for it) any suggestions? and as far as upgrading manual to power windows...is this advised? because I would love to do this...but does it come out alright? is it easy? is it worth the time/work thanks |
