Hi!
We have a 95 Sunfire (2.2L OHV, Automatic, high kms) that accelerates fine, coasts great, but when driving at a constant speed, most noticable around 70 kms/h, it jerks/lopes/hesitates. We've done a compression check, it's within acceptable limits, spark plugs are new, fuel filter is new. Also, I do not know if this is related, but maybe, sometimes on start up there is a strong fuel smell. Sometimes the jerking is less noticable than other times.... any suggestions. Maybe an EGR valve???? Any help would be greatly apprecaited! Zoobie |
