Front struts

hello all,
Replaced the front strut cartridges (99 LTZ, 3.8) yesterday, and noticed today that there is a clunking noise that was not there before i changed struts. (it sounds like the strut top is hitting the strut top mounting plate).
Everything is torxed correctly. Going to check bushing and mounting plate tonight and recheck to make sure that everything is tight.
Wanted to see what you guys thought.
Thank You

Paul

well i think i found the problem.... there was a little play in the strut bushing, so i tightened down the nut more, and also cleaned the strut bushing. Had a bit of grease / oil on the bushing.
We shall see what happens on the trip to work.....
