Noobies Revell Civic Hatch - In Progress 56k be warned

Yo so I'm a noob here on this forum so forgive any ignorance I display.. I've been workin on this particular model on an off for a few weeks now and it's near completion.. I have NOT polished or waxed it yet, not sure how to polish but I'll think about it..

Wheels are from '93 revel civic, I thought they looked "gay" at first but then realized they kinda look like 5Zigen FN-01 RC's so I put em on
I also angled the rear wing to look kinda like a spoon duckbill wing

Herres the rear, I had no CF so I painted it a metallic black for now... also made a N1 stlye exhaust

Ok herres the engine, again pretty much stock w/ exception of custom made ITB's and fuel rail, MSD style ignition and external coil and wiring

Herres my wannabe Mugen strut tower bar and titanium wannabe finish with welds

Herres the interior layout.. removed passenger seat and rear seat.. added laptop, nitrious bottles, seat from 93 revell civic to look like CTR recaros... not sure bout nitrious bottles still thinkin bout roll cage though I'm not sure how to build one

I like the color. In my opinion it gives the car a bit more of a "luxory" look to it.

I love the engine detail too. It's not too much, but it looks good and gives it the touch that says that you put forth a decent amount of effort into it. :-)

See why I consider my skills rather ameturish is because see I can build it box stock with the exception of a few minor mods but anything more advance and I do know how to do or haven't tried.. so yeah ameturish in my opinion but also a clean build IMO too

Thanks, although I'm not quite happy with them.. I was trying to find metal or aluminum ITB stacks or whatever you call em.. but couldn't find anything so I just took some styrene rods and melted the ends to make them "curl" but thanks for all the comments.. keep em coming

Sakatsu sells some ITB's

I plan on getting a set of those soon, they seem awesome. You should try it out

And with Revell's K20 out now on their Die-cast RSX, im just waiting to put ITB's on a K20

Looks great, I was going to put a carbon hatch on mine also but you beat me too it I see. I like how you angled the stock spoiler up too look like a duckbill. I also agree that your model skills are not of an noob. Keep it up.

damn wish I knew that earlier.. it's okay I'm buildin a Si coupe next maybe I'll put it on that.. you know their website? by the way I really admire your honda's you build, they're awesome.. I love hondas..

lol, yea that would've looked cool. Just get some Tamiya X-17 Smoke, thin it down a bit and apply it with a brush. Its what i did with my Gold Civic HB's engine.
