hey i have a 1988 chevy s10 pickup and i was wondering if there are any mods or anything that would increase the hp on my truck or give it a little better acceleration..... or to at least make it sound good...

i got a catalog the other day with some good ideas. LMC
truck. there is a throttlebody spacer that they say will improveperformance and fuel economy, by allowing the fuel to travel further improving fuel dispersion and atomization. it say that makes the fuel easier ignite and burn. said to increase throttle responce, 10-15% improvement in torque and gas milage increase by 8%.
easy bolt on. only for 4.3 with tbi 88 to 93. $70.
also for sound they have an exhaust that replases your stock muffer. it all hooks right on behind cat converter Ys out after the cat leading to two 31/2"
resonator tips that replase muffler. looks real good. $200. adds more houres with a little noise.

I believe that it can be either a 4.3L, or a 2.8L in 88. Not to mention the 4 banger.
It would really help us to know what motor you have since they are all so different.

probably so its just the catalog i have only lists the or gives the part number for 4.3 spacer. the exhaust was for all sizes from82 to 04.

well I have got a question will the 4.3 computer work on a v8

see I have a 92 sonoma 4.3 5 speed ext cab and want to do the v8 thing but want to keep tbi and the 5 speed I want to know if the ecm will run the v 8 since the 4.3 to 350 or 305 mild modified uses the same air fuel mixtures

A 5 speed with a 4.3L is a rare combo. That should be 1 fun truck when it's done

its alot of fun now expescellial considering i have a 92 rs camaro 5 speed as well and the s 10 will out run the camaro up to about 60 mph

but I am plannin on a set 0f 3.42 gears and a posi and throughing a aproxiamate 300 horse 350 or 305 in it to spice it up

the camaro is a 305 5 speed with t top and 3.23 gears and posi it a lot of fun too but the big question is has anyone done a fuelinjected big block conversion on a s 10
