You all think you are so smart.
Quote:
You talk of proven engines, and think by association the KA is magically on the same level. Do you also think the "mighty" Chevy 305 engine is on the same level as a 502 crate engine based on the fact that it too shares the same 2v pushrod valvetrain? Do you think you can run as fast as an olympic athlete because you too have two legs? All things are not created equal my friend. Please, you like everyone else on this pitiful excuse of a forum lack simple knowledge that lets you see past your own ignorance. Even your name exemplifies the intense level of hypocracy that plagues this forum. Quote:
I can spend $10,000 on building an SR, and if it outruns your KA-T that you spent $300 on, I'm still faster. Shocking I know... Excuses and pitty grovel don't make you faster. You can talk about it all night and day, get all of your friends to think you are so cool. End the end, I am still faster. Also, I do not recall anyone attempting to even list a simple contruction list that is remotely cheaper than my SR20DE-T. I think you'll find that your own ignorance has led you down a single path simply because it is the one most travelled by the same lemmings as you. Enlightenment is the key to efficiency, wearing blinders and not testing other opportunities leads to a dull finish. Oh but you could say the same about the SR20DET. However the main difference is that the SR community grows further and further away from petty talk, and closer to action. You see, we do not allow simple things to dictate our choice. We are not tied down by the entire money arguement, which I might add is the single largest crock of shit I have ever heard. I have never made more than $9 / hr. working at a job, yet I had a 240SX built with what alot of you kids dream off and talk about. Those who decide to stop running their mouths and start making things happen are the ones that are the winners in the end. I think you'll also find that those that actually get off their high horse and build something, are the ones that are the most humble and understanding. While the average have-nothing bickers back and forth about what his friend has, and what he thinks is the best. I have worked on Skylines, 240SXs, Pulsars, SRs, KAs, CAs, GAs, VQs, VGs, VHs, L-series, A-series, U-series, etc. damn near every engine ever brought to the US and some. I have experienced nearly every car brought to the US from Nissan including the Datsuns of old. I have worked on these cars you now own for years, and some of the parts on the 240SX market today are the direct result of my doings. So ask yourself, do you think you are as creditable? Quote:
If you must know, my sole choice behind the SR is mainly per my judgement in driving numerous setups, including built KA-T's. I simply made the decision to go SR based on the feel of the engine. I am not pro-SR, or pro-KA. I am a realist, and I conform to my own thoughts. Someday maybe the people on this board will have the level of self-freedom to look past the excuses and make a choice based on what they want, and not what they were told. Quote:
Dynamic thought is a gift most of the rest of this board severly lack. Note to Admin / Mods: This is not an attack on your board's namesake, it is a window to reality for the sole members of this sub forum. I forsee this thread will be filled with more moronic commentary which is a predictable response to reality. Ban me if you wish, but I am no longer returning to this board.
