where is the block number?

hey everybody i need to know where to find the block number on my camaro, i decided to sell it because gas is crazy and so is my insurance i have a buyer but need to find out if it has a 305 or a 350 in it.

Check on the block??

Sorry, too easy.

Owners manual? That would be the easiest way. There should be a VIN breakdown somewhere that would be able to tell you without searching for the block number.

I know you the last number/ letter can tell you that, but forget what stands for what????
Ill try to figure it out.
Stock engine or not?.....and if stock its probably a 305 if its the one in your picture. Dont recall Berlinettas being 350's. Not sure....

If not....give us the VIN. I bet someone had Carfax and can look it up.

are you just trying to figure out what engine you have from the factory?? or do you need the block number specificlly for some reason.

If you are just looking to find out what engine you have it is the 8th digit of the VIN number. post it here and i can tell you what you have.
