Question 02' corvette wheels on my 88 camaro ????

I was gonna get some corvette wheels, actually c5 wheels to be exact and the bolt patter on those wheels is 5 x 4.75, which is the same as whats on my camaro right now. So the question is, since the bolt pattern
is the same, will the new c5 corvetter wheels fit on my car ? and if not, can i get adapters or somehow make them fit ?

Thanks a lot everyone.
All the best,
Marcus R.

Re: 02' corvette wheels on my 88 camaro ????

what you will need are wheel spacers. some are 2in and some are 3in, as to which is better youve got me. Although it should be noted that these spacers are not safe for extreme duty or racing applications as they will increase the sheer forces on the hubs. They are however perfectly safe for regular daily driving.

It depends on the size of the wheel..
It's hard to predict how the tire will look with the wheel spacers until it's on. Might, Might not..

Re: 02' corvette wheels on my 88 camaro ????

it shouldnt, the reasons is that the wheel design is different. On the third gen design the bolt flange is moved towards the center of the rim, on the newer camaro and C5 design the bolt flange is moved towards the outer edge of the rim so it would actually hit the inner fender, thats where the spacers come into play, it moves the tire out to the normal location of the camaro rim.
