chopped top civic??
what exactly is a chopped top civic?? what does it look like anyone with a picture?? cuz i read on some of it on the super street magazine team signal i think it was that had a chopped top civic.. still have no clue what it is

Yeah, they cut the roof off, cut the pillars all shorter and reweld and/or mold the roof back on it.

so they cut the roof off then make then lower it... man it looks sweet though... would it be a lot of work you think?? and will there still be enuf head room in there for the passengers in the back??

well just judge i for yourself, sit in the back seat and feel how much room is above your head, most chops are around 3 inches, so drop 3 inches from that distance and see how much you got left.

"bump" is typed to sorta bump the thread up to the top of the forum and keep it alive.
question about a chopped car.... what about the windshield? how do they cut that?

the orange car is lexan..
but most "chop top" vehicles (been around since the 50's) use custom cut glass. glass is VERY easy to work with, and there is probably around a dozen or so places in every town that can do it.
