Going turbo
Would it be ok to turbo a B18b with about 150k miles on it? Or what would I have to rebuild?

and also I hear that the Greddy turbo kits put about 50-100hp. Is that with or without the intercooler because I read the ones without the intercooler and it says the same hp gain.

Re: Going turbo
Eather, way get an intercooler. The 150 thing should not be a prob, just do like he said and ck the motor to see if everything is up to par. 150 is still a baby.

Another question, what's the difference between internal wastegate and external? Which one provides better performance?

Re: Going turbo
From what I am told the external wastgate is better, you have less chance of it sticking and it's tune able.
Go to www.homemadeturbo.com and just do some reading there is alot of good info on there. I don't like they way they do there turbo setups. Very cheep and lam, but they do know what there talking about.
