This is not as serious as what the subject says.
For any C5 Vette owners to answer. When driving over bumpy roads does anyone notice a slight vibration in the center of the hood near the windshield. I believe this is typical, but I can't quite remember if this is common. I wanted to realign the hood and everthing is tight the way I would expect it to be. I have found out that it is common for Vette body panels not lining up quite perfect, especially around the head lamp assembly. I had a automatic 2004 Vette before my current stick and I think it did the same thing. Difference is my current Vette has the z51 suspension. Just to be clear, it fine on smooth roads and only vibrates a little on bumpy or cobblestone roads. I am assuming that this is typical because the hood is fiberglass and the center of hood has no hinges to keep it tight. Am I correct? Any responses would be greatly appreciated! |

Re: 2004 Corvette Hood Vibration
Mine was doing that but I noticed that it was not latching tight enough. When it was closed I could lift up and down at the corner where it latches. I just adjusted it to latch tighter. Does not seem to vibrate as it did.
