Well, it depends. For one, is your car turbo or n/a? (this info should be in your sig) If its turbo, people say that the crap brands that make cf hoods tend to melt from the turbo heat. The only brand that this doesn't seem to happen to is ViS. ViS is expensive, but top of the line quality.

Re: Should I get a this Hood ?

I was thinking of doing the CF hood route since mine was dented, but after reading some threads on here about people having problems with CF hoods, I opted not to.

Apparently (and you should search yourself to verify) people have problems with CF hoods cracking if they are not properly made. Also some people have had problems getting cheap CF hoods to properly fit their car and latch correctly with the stock latch.

My instincts and 'purchasing sense" tell me that you get what you pay for and CF hoods can cost upwards of $600. I imagine the people that have had problems, bought similar $100 hoods, since that is really cheap.

You might never have a problem with so I'd go with your instinct but I wanted to raise some of the previous problems people have had to give you some ideas of what to watch out for.

Best of luck to you and I hope it works out either way.

Get a VIS without doubt. I cant remember who it was on here, but some guy posted about "melting" THREE cheapo brand CF hoods. He then (finally) got a ViS one, and he didnt have any problems with that.
