Help -Roof Rack - Cross Bars

I have a ski/cargo case on top of my roof rack. I was wondering how the cross bars are removed. If they just lift up, I will keep the cross bars on the case so that I can just slap the case and the cross bars back on when I need the extra cargo space. I am trying to save some time by not having to unbolt the case from the cross bars and trying to realign everything again when I have to install the case again.

Thanks

I think I heard somewhere that to remove them you need to slide them off one end of the track after removing the stop piece. Otherwise, I would remove them as well for asthetic purposes. Erik

Thanks, I thought that is was removed that way. Looks like I am taking the case off only.
