Well after reading many posts here I knew that my turbine speed sensor was going bad on my 95 Aurora. When the SES light came on the trans would shift hard. When the light was off it would shift fine. The trans shop confirmed that it had stored the code for a bad TSS. I am getting it replaced for $800 to $1000 at a local trans shop. I thought the price was fair.
