I Have A 98 S-10 2.2 4cyl The Head Cracked And I Am Replacing It.
On My 98 I Have An Egr Valve . But On This New Rebuilt Head (which Came Off A 2001 S-10) I Am Finding Out I Don't Think They Had An Egr Valve . On The 98 Head, Where The Egr Mounts There Is A Hole That Travels Through The Head And Leads From An Exhaust Port. On The 2001 There Is No Hole And There Is A Plate Blocking Off Where The Egr Would Appear To Go. I Guess My Question Is , Can I Remove The Egr And Continue With This New Head Install . Since The Newwer S-10 's Don't Have Them Anymore? If Not Do I Need Other Parts To Make This Work ? Please Help ??? |
