Shelby Cobra, Complete

Well since i had the day off , i had nothing to do, so i finished this up. I added a wash of tamiya smoke to all the chrome, to bring out the details, and add some depth. and added a few engine details.

and Thanks to everyone who followed my progress thread!

Re: Shelby Cobra, Complete

very very cool build, I especially like the little windows, are those from the kit, cause they look so brittle and realistic in scale...

well, just about everything looks super on this one, way to go, it will be hard to top.

Re: Shelby Cobra, Complete

I really like. That being said, stylistically, I feel that its too much black... either the rim lip should have been left polished or may be paint the rims titanium or dark gunmetal, but the wheels need to be different from the body for color differentiation.

I think the interior is superb and super clean. I also think you did an outstanding job on a so-so kit! My color comments are strictly aethetics and do not, in any way reflect your build quality or your abilities as a modeler, which are considerable.

I followed the build-up and I am really impressed at the interior, especially the gauge treatment...but I can't see those awesome wheels
You did a wonderful job on the side-pipes,a a definite improvement!
