I have a 1996 honda civic dx. When it is time for a tune up there is a green thing on dash that turns to red with a black button that i beleive goes in as it turns red. i would like to tune the car myself i recall doing it once but that identifier did not reset. Can any one share some light on this?

Re: Honda civic tune up indicator
If I'm getting your question right, you're asking how to reset the maintainence required indicator... If this is the case, there is a small rectangular cut-out in the gauge cluster. All you have to do is use your key (or anything else that will fit through there) and push it through to hit the reset switch.
Hope this helps!
