First off, let me say I know nothing about cars. My car is a 95 with 98,000 miles. A few weeks ago, I was driving about 10 mph and the car lost power and the service engine light lit. When I took the car to the dealer, it turned out to be a bad EGR valve and it was replaced. Thinking the problem was resolved, two days ago, I was driving about 55 mph and the car lost power but the service engine light did not light. I managed to restart the car with no further problems. I called the dealer regarding this particular incident and he said without the service engine light having lit it would be difficult to diagnose. I have lost all confidence in the car and I don't want to drive it anymore. HELP.
