2g throttle body

i just read that the throttle body in 2g is bigger than the one the 1g and the cyclone is this true it wasnt off of a offical site so i dont know if that is true? so if this is true that would mean i should keep my 2g t.b and just hook it up to my cyclone intake manifold? they said that it was a 60 mm t.b

Re: 2g throttle body

Is this turbo or non turbo? Please put car info in sig 2g turbo is 52mm, 1g turbo is 60mm. 1g NT is 60mm. No idea what 2g NT is.

Re: 2g throttle body

They may have been talking about the 2g throttle body elbow which connects the IC piping to the throttle body. The 2g elbow does flow a little better than the 1g.

Re: 2g throttle body

cylcone is a waste of time unless you are really going to put the effort in to get all of the solnoids working with the jdm ecu. A lot of work for very little return. On a 2g head, just stick with the 2g manifold and port it to 60mm and use a 91-94 turbo TB.

The TB elbow and manifold are unrelated. I don't mean to offend you, and I hope I dont, but I still cant figure out where you are getting your info from, 90% of it is wrong.

Re: 2g throttle body

i got that off of v-faq and it shows pitcures of it installed on a 1g eclipse. I know that the e.b. wont help me but i do need it to hook up to the stock piping on the car
