5 spd.

is it true the camaro 5 spd. sucks and will get killed behind a 350, because I really like the 3rd gen 350 t/a and irocs but i also like the stick.

yes the 5 spds dont hold up too well behind a 350. If you can find a world class t5 they are a little stronger but your best bet is to swap in a 6 speed.

you wont find a 350 t/a or Iroc with a factory five speed.. You havto do a swap, and if your doing a swap you might as well go with a T56 6 speed..

you could have the T5 5 speed built to handle a 350.. But it would probably cost the same to go 6 speed and your getting a far better transmission

how much money for a t56 including all the shit i would have to do to the rest of the drivetrain..i heard the pedals were a bitch

im currently in a spot with my 5 speed camaro, i want a 350 in it but the torque will destroy the 5 speed.
