Unhappy My Damn Trunk Wont Stay Open

Hey whats up

i have a 2000 honda civic and my trunk will not stay open.
i have the honda spoiler on it, but it closes on my back every time i use my trunk!!!!

how do i strengthen the trunk hinges so that it will stay open?????

i think it has something to do with the two rods going accross to the hinges but i have no clue what to do with them..

HELP ME PLEASE!!

you had the wing installed at a dealership? sounds to me like the springs are reversed/ mounted wrong... take it to a dealer and have them check it out... they shouldnt let the trunk lid fall closed at all...
