Window Tint
If any1 has their windows tinted can u post some pics an tell what % it is? im thinkin bout tinting mine but not exactly sure what tint to go with .so pics would help me out a lot, thanx

where did you get your tint done? are there any companies, chains that do tinting? so you said for around $200 you got all your windows tinted? sounds like a good deal. i'd like to get mine tinted, but cosmetics take a back seat to maintenance and performance upgrades.

Kev3000GT.. u have 35 on ur sides? it looks a lot darker than that... i did one window in mine which is the back side one with 35 and it looks much lighter than that.. almost close to the stock tint.. and about that strip in the front.. i already have a dark blue there as a sun shade.. but that was in the windsheild when i got it.... but im not sure if i want to push it to 20% all the way around... here in VA it can only be 50 on the sides, and 35 in the rear...and 50% is nothing... but ill go for the 20 and hope a cop doesnt pull me
.. but bad thing about tinting my windows is that the ones in the doors are scratched up really bad and need to be replaced.. and that will run me 500 to replace them

You can buy the tint at any car shop for $15 and do it yourself...this is a PITA, but the good thing is if you screw up, you can just take it right off and start over...
If you wanna save $185, find a friend who has done it themselves and get them to help you.

I tried tinting mine an it was real hard.. had to take it off, i dont see how those guys do it for a living... the side windows are real rounded and the tint doesnt curve to it so it was nothing but air pockets.. i dont see how any1 could do them... and Kev3000GT.. what u mean by state regulated?

Yea, I live in Chicago and for the most part the cops don't care, but when you go to the suburbs that's where they hitcha hard with the fines.
