Power windows

Hello everybody

I recently played with my Power windows in my 1983 thunderbird. 3.8L
carb.I used epoxy to fix my fautly window gear and it is the cat's meow.
However I put them back together and now I get no response at all.
The motor dosen's do anything.I thought maybe the gear i fixed wasn't moving so I took it out and it still didn't work. I wonder if this has something to do with computer, or whatever. Please help,
Epoxy was $5.00 to fix both gears and I am pretty sure it will hold. I use epoxy at work on concrete jobs to dowel in steel and it's tough stuff.
