there is a way we might be able to get them to produce a new Supra!, we got enough ppl on this forum, why don't we get together an online (and maybe off, lol) petition, we can get a bunch of ppl involoved and we'll all send letters to the company or call em', spread a site across the net and get even more loyal Supra ppl to come outta the darkness. Then maybe we could get that new supra.

So answer the poll, and post replies, whatever you guys wanna do, let me know, ok?, cool.

This is dumb. there is no way toyota will be swayed by people that have no credibility, aka: money. Besides, they know what their target audience is and i'm sure they know what that audience wants to feel when they push the gas.

Getting everyone here to ask yota to make a L6 single T78 AWD supra, or whatever you wish it would be, would simply result in a lost cause effort.

"target audience", for the most part are people that can afford it, 9 out of 10 they don't even know or care about how that horse power is available to them... it just is. So with that in mind why not use a dohc v8 with nice flowing heads and a skull sized throttle body... with the hp per liter technology yota has it could most likely put out much better numbers when it comes to hp vs emissions than a turbo charged vehicle.

Boost can create very high exhaust temperatures, greatly lowering the quality of emissions. So its not "dumb", "stupid", or "lame ass" its logical.

But the supra legacy is with an I6, its always been that way and they shouldn't put the supra name on anything that has anything other than an I6, it would just feel wrong

Finding people who want a new Supra and finding people who will pay for a new Supra are two totally different things... What does Toyota care if a bunch of people want it, if most of them won't/can't buy it?

They took it off the market because everyone that can afford one and wants one has one, or bought a corvette. 9 out of 10 the target audience bought a corvette anyway. Its not that hard to figure out, believe it.

SUPRA MKIV: do you have the $$ to buy one? Prove it to them with a stub and write them a letter. That would mean alot more to them than gathing by the masses and sending bulk messages for them to delete/trash.
