Re: has anyone tried 19's on their celica yet?

i have 16's with 205-50-16 tires on em and they barely fit, ill tell u right now, if your planning on getting anything bigger than 185-30-19 then they wont work....you only have 24 inches in diameter from the top of the wheel to the bottem of wheel space, and thats with 7 inch wide rims, mine is 23.5 inches and comes about an inch from rubbing when i turn all the way

Re: has anyone tried 19's on their celica yet?

that cant be right because my stock wheel height with the stock 15's is 24 1/2, i got a good deal on some 18x7.5 and their is a Celi GTS around me with the same size...so i know they'll fit, and the overall height of the 19's i was going to get was 25.2 in. with some really low pro tires...so i think it would have fit though...

i have an st, im pretty sure its the same wheel space, my 16's have 3 inch low profs on em from the top of the rim to top of the tire so total its 22 inches, if you goto a local tire store yhou can see what the max is for a toyota celica, if you rally want me too i can ask a friend that works for big 0 tires too see what max is for 19 incehs

Re: has anyone tried 19's on their celica yet?

nah dont worry about it..i bought some 18's for my car...(got a good deal on them 349.99 for all four rimes and center caps) rims retail at like 850 or so...so i bought them...18x7.5 getting 215/35/18 for tire size
