Loose Door Handle
Okay, so my door handle is a little loose on my driver's side. The passenger side is nice and tight but I can't move the handle on the driver side up and down. Is there any way I can make it so that it doesn't move?

Re: Loose Door Handle
Check for a missing screw in the doorjam at handle height. It took me 6 months to figure out why mine was loose...10 seconds to fix it.

Re: Loose Door Handle
Doorjam....do you mean the side panel of the door? Because I don't know which screw you're referring too....

Re: Loose Door Handle
mine did that too, check the door jam where it latches. also check the other door jam, that swings open, at the hight of the door handle. there should be a screw, unless its missing like landoAWD said, just tighten it and your problem is fixed.

Re: Loose Door Handle
It's still a little loose after tightening the screw but it's better than before. Thanks guys.
Kris_873, what's the "other door jam" that you're referring to? The passenger side? |
