My shortest street racing story, ever...

Here goes:

Automatic, V6 Camaro thought I cut him off, decided to mess with the POS, POS messed with him right back. Idiot slinked back into his place in the automotive food-chain, as he cut a right at a side-street, after two runs of utter humiliation.

Oh, and ran with a 98 or so Maxima (I egged this one - he was laughing - at first), with Altezzas and an exhaust, that screamed to the world that his was an automatic. He had three people in the car. Pulled him convincingly and, he also, cut a right at the next street.

Wasn't out hunting for races at all...just getting a new bulb for one of my brake lights, but oh well...

I plead the 5th...

Besides, who would ever want to race an old, stock, beat-up Sentra?

Nah, I took it in to the shop to get a new A/C compressor put in last Thursday night (we ARE in AZ, although it "only" has been in the low hundreds lately, lol). I picked it up Friday afternoon.

Nice kills. Isn't it funny, that whenever you're actually looking for a race (I know that's ALL the time for a lot of us) there isn't anybody around. But those times you are just driving, minding your own business, there's always somebody wanting to race.

Re: My shortest street racing story, ever...

you ever noticed when you looking for a race the cars you want to race are either in cross traffic at a light or going the other way?

Re: My shortest street racing story, ever...

i know the feeling.

out looking for a race, and all the little ricer civics that i want to put in their place are going the OTHER WAY, while im stuck behind the soccer mom convention.

why does it always happen that way?

Nice go of it carrrnut!! Too bad that kind of thing doesn't actually happen when you want it too!!

Oh well, usually when you want it too and it doesn't, that's a hint that maybe today isn't your day to be doing that kind of thing! I had that happen to me one day, and in frustration i decided to drive home. As i was going home i was listening to traffic reports, and the cops had set up speed traps along the road that i wanted to running on!
