passenger front floor carpet is wet
I just noticed today that my passenger side front floor carpet is wet. (rather my wife noticed when she got in with bare feet) My car is a 97 740il. Does anyone know if this could be a A/C drain problem? I looked under the car and the only thing I noticed was small water drops dripping from a pipe or some type of round metal piece. If anyone has a guess please let me know.
Many Thanks |

Re: passenger front floor carpet is wet
if it hasn't rained and the liquid isn't sweet [coolant] then a/c condensation from the evaporator not draining is possible but i haven't come accross this yet on an E38. check a little further on the 'liquid'.

Water used to occasionally drip from under the dashboard of my Acura Legend when it was hot and the A/C was running. Not NEARLY enough to "soak" the carpet, if that's what you're talking about. I guess it depends how much liquid is there.
