cant remove key

I have a 00 accord coupe, and after I back up and turn off the car, I cant get the key out!! WTF.
So I have to put the shift in drive, and advance afew inches and the I can remove the ignition key.
Any ideas??

Have the dealer adjust the shift cable. We just ran across this the other day in work.

The person who owned the car was having the same problem you are describing here. Adjusted the cable ... no more problem.
