Aftermarket SUNROOF for my Double-cab???

Since toyota didn't offer a Sunroof option for the 2003 Double-cabs I've been considering an aftermarket sunroof. After checking around for a few months I found there are 3 general types: Pop-up (approx $300), Electric spoiler type, ($700-$800) or Electric spliding ($1300-$1600.)Has anyone had any experience with an aftermarket sunroof installed in there Double-Cab?? Any suggestions? Warnings? or recommendations? would be appreciated....

Re: Aftermarket SUNROOF for my Double-cab???

How can I load a short MPEG to the forum?

I've got an awesome MPEG of a new Sunroof installed and working.

Thanks

Cool, I'd love to see it.
Not sure you can attach the .mpeg file to your post because of size. I believe if you can convert it to a .zip file and attach to your next reply I may be able to copy it.
Otherwise I'd be interested in cost and what type of sunroof is it. Was there any guarantee on leaking?

Even after zipping it, it's still 936kb, will not load, my work email is [email protected], I can send you the file if you email me.

Nice spoiler sunroof, I guess you can call it "cutting edge".

Re: Aftermarket SUNROOF for my Double-cab???

Yea, he likes it. Because of the shorter cab (shorter than the double) he wasn't able to put the power one in, but you shouldn't have any problems. He paid about 130 for the sunroof, and we put it in, the place where he bought the sunroof wanted 225 to install it, and that included a guarantee against any leaks. I believe they had the power one for 275, with the same guarantee.
