3rd generation accord weight?

Someone I know claims that a 3rd generation accord sedan equipped with the 98hp 4 cyl tips the scales at 4000 pounds. This seems like a bit much to me, but maybe I'm wrong. Does anyone know for sure?

I would think it's more like 2500 lbs.

A scale works well. I've had cars weighed at a junkyard. Service manuals have weights, but each car can be slightly different.
