Theft System 99 sunfire

My theft system dash light comes on and shuts the eng off right after it starts, this started after i removed my dash, inst-cluster, radio so i could fix my heat-air plenum selector the rod going to the flapper door was broke and after i fixed i did run the car with my radio and instrument cluster disconnected and also psgr air bag was also disconnected the car ran fine. Put everything back together and the first time i started the car the theft system shuts it down---- so how do i reset it, my radio works fine its not in the theft mode, everything else seems to work fine Thanks for any help!!!

Assuming everything is connected properly all you do is turn the key to the on position with the drivers door open for 15 minutes and the passlock system relearns the key. Then you should be able to restart the vehicle. ASSUMING everything is connected properly.

Will i tryed that still no luck, cked all my connections i took apart everything ckes ok ???? still same problem. any more ideas? thanks

That should work if its your passlock system disabling the car, maybe try the key being on (to the point that the idiot lights come on) for a longer period of time 20 mins maybe. If you were to disconnect your radio again does it work? Just keep looking at that radio and the passlock area, those are the only feasible causes, check for pinched wires etc.
