Heater/AC Fan won't blow - 994runner
It started out as an intermittent problem. I’d start the truck, turn the heat on, and nothing would happen. I’d futz with it for a few seconds and then BAM, the fan starts blowing.
Now the fan won’t come on at all. When I adjust the speed from the highest setting to the next step down (and visa versa) I can hear a clicking noise behind my glove box (which I think is resistor of some kind). This is the climate control unit by the way… I’ve heard of blower motors not working on some speeds, and working on others, but in my case the whole thing stopped working. Any ideas on where I should start trouble shooting? |

I figured it out. It was the blower motor itself that went bad.
