1973 Datsun 240Z
Has anyone seen that magazine article on the Datsun "383Z" Its a 240Z powered by a Chevy 350 small block. I just think the classic Z is one of the greatest street sleepers on the earth, what do you guys think about them?

Re: 1973 Datsun 240Z
Yes good. Though the earlier fairlady roadsters are more to my liking.

Back in my Datsun 510 days (in the 1970's) we used to hunt Z's for sport; usually all dressed up and no punch to back it up, and poor handlers to boot.
However, a few decades have changed my perspective, and the Z's weight isn't the turn-off it once was. Plus, intelligent choices on what to modify could make on a fun back-roads brawler. Uh, a SBC under the hood isn't one of those choices.
