Question Need some info on Primera
People!!!! I' m new to this, so just bear with me.....
I ordered a 1997 SR20DE Nissan Primera from Japan, I'll be getting it early next month. I've been trying to organise some mods in the meantime, but the chronic problem I'm getting is that I can't find parts for the Primera.
What I'm trying to ask, basically, is if anyone out there knows how similar the Primera is to the G20. Are all the performance parts interchangable?

Alright! Now that I'm getting somewhere, let's deal with some specifics....
Would the Hotshot CAI used in the 99 G20 fit (properly)? Also, the Cattman Stainless Steel Y-pipe, Greddy Cat-Back Muffler, and Hotshot headers?
The JWT Cams, I know, are arguably the best for the SR20DE. What's your experience with them?

Since you have a 97 Primera its most similar to the 99 G20 (there were a few changes in 2000)


The Hotshot CAI and headers from a 99 should work for you. There is someone who posts here (Kevin, goes by P11GT) who has european Primera (97 or 98?) and I believe he is using the HS CAI and headers from a 99 G20. Just do a search for his username and send him a private message.

The JWT cams for a 99 should be good too. Although I'm not sure if your 97 JDM Primera comes with roller rocker cams. If it does than you can NOT use the JWT cams. Once you get your car you can check which you have by following the tips on the "FAQ" sub forum under "G20".


I'm not sure about the Y-Pipe.


The Greddy Cat back should work... but dont hold me to it!
