Smile Hey I'm wayne from Canada, love the U.S, Bur

Well now you know who I am. Age 51, married 34 years, look like, well ?, hell, as far as I' concerned last time I looked in the mirror. Okay, 3 young sons, all handsome men as well, okay this sounds like a help me file.
Anyway lived my life working on cars, houses, electrical, plumbing, you name it. Jack ass of all trade, and that's the truth. I appreciate this forum , for I am hoping for lots of info on autos from young and old. I can still give lots of advise but can't keep up to the new cars. Be kind, I love a cool smart crack, but cut the rude emails. I want to keep up. Nice to see people helping each other. Wayne

hello, my name is dave **group says "hello dave"**, and i'm an addict.**group applauds**. anyone ever notice how when someone introduces themselves, it always sounds like we're in some kind of a self help group? anyway, as i said, i'm dave, i'm 20 years old. and i gained most of my automotive knowledge (which really isn't a whole lot) by owning several rolling junkyards. i spent a lot of time working on these heaps of scrap metal. there has been a 95 dodge grand caravan, a 92 chrysler lebaron, and a 91 ford taurus. i know these vehicles like the back of my hand. the lebaron and the taurus are still running, but due to a little neglect on my part, the caravan's block cracked. you see, i was having a little cooling problems to begin with, and then the radiator fan bearings went out. i think you can guess where it went from there. if only i'd taken better care of her. i loved that van. since her demise she has been reborn in the hands of a cousin who dropped a new motor and trans in. the rest of my automotive knowledge i have amassed by reading books, and managing a jiffy lube for about a year. i would like to consider myself a jack-of-all-trades do-it-yourselfer, but there is still quite a bit out there that i would love to learn. compared to many people, i know a lot, but compared to a few, i know nothing. i can do electrical work, plumbing, and some heavier duty carpentry. wayne, i'm sorry to hear that you've recieved some rude emails. that kind of thing really doesn't need to happen. everyone take care, and good luck, because a lot of you are here because of car troubles. adios.

Hey, I'm Mike and I'm 22 and I'm a dodge-aholic!! I started working on cars when I was old enough to pick up a wrench! My dad has a shop in the back yard, and on weekends whiel all the other kids played ball, I helped my dad. He has taught me pretty much everything I know. When I was 16 I got ambitious and bought my self a shelby charger with a rod through the block and a siezed turbo. My father and I built a new engine with a few mods, and now she purrs like a kitten. Now a days, I have a car audio and customisation co, that I run with my brother, and well... I'll let you knoe the rest when I finish the next chapter!!

P.S. Welcome to the group!!!

Hi, I'm known as Tazman so much I can't remember my name half the time. I work for Chryslers building the minivans and Pacificas here in Windsor. I've been a car-aholic for about 25yrs. and I don't see an end to it anytime soon. That's what I get for having only 1 son and 3 daughters. If anyone has trouble with their minivans drop me a line and I'll see if I can help you out. Take it easy guys and any ladies on here.
