Turn signals NOT WORKING....help

I have a 1990 Maxima

ever since someone broke into my car and ripped out my CD/radio thing.....

when i try to signal it doesn't work...

1. the led on the dashboard doesn't come on.... and i don't hear that signal sound ( u know click, click....click, click)

2. from the rear of the car nothing flashes....(light is still on and when i brake it still comes on.....) but no left signal and no right signal....

3. weird... in the front when i try to signal.... (when i have my headlights on and i try to signal , the headlight it self gets brighter on which ever side i'm signaling on (but not the normal orange color, but headlight color...hard to explain) but i have to manually click the thing..... up, down... up down... or down up... down up......

one more important thing..... When they ripped out the radio.........it also did something with the Emergency light thing and broke that piece off.......

i'm about to go look at the fuses... if any one has the fuse diagram of 3rd generation maxima...please show me....

Sounds like your heading in the right direction. As far as which fuse controls what, try this place.

have you had anyone work on you car lately? when i got my deck installed the circuit city people forgot to plug in my hazards

yup...thats what it was.....

i had to order a new switch fo the hazard button... $35.... i coulda probebly found one at the Junk yard....but i just wanted to get it over with....

anyway i just learned something new..... turn signals and that hazard signals and the alarm of the car... all depend on each otha... Electronics.... wording... there was an Open circut.... so i just plugged it in that everything works now....

i just gota get a new CD Deck.....
