In progress... Audi Coupe Quattro and Bmw M1
I will post pics soon, the digicam is away right now. My very good question will be as follows:
what the hellto do with the body? It has to be white glossy recomended But is it dangerous to apply a clearcoat to the decals? Ive heared that It can damage them and when u polish it you may go thru. I need something to cover up the decal film edges and when I place the decals on just bare polished White body they will show on it?

I'm doing the Audi as well. Who makes your M1? My Audi is going to be Red Mica (Tamiya) As for your question, I have no clue.
I know, I'm useless.

I'm willing to bet Esci on that M1, as far as original producer.
When applying a clearcoat over decals, you have to be sure of using a "cold" clear that won't eat the decals. Usually I use acrylic clear (Model Master, personally) over decals and have no problems. As far as your polishing concerns go, skip the two coarsest grits in your polishing kit on the first coat and lay down about three coats. That will net you the best results.

No problem with tamiya clear on decals if you wait for 1/2 days after you have applied decals. Is important that the first hand of clear is veeeery thin. Then be sure that Tamiya clear does not demage the paint you use!

Revell made the Bimmer M1? Are they rare? I haven't seen one. And:
Hey! Your model sounds good though!
